    Re: S20BRBB20-AG

    Hello,

When you press the “test” button on the icemaker, it should go through a harvest cycle, regardless of freezer temperature. If it does not, usually a faulty ice maker assembly. If it does but not fill with water, then the solenoid fill valve.

    Any help?

Re: Samsung rs21 defrost heater ohms

    Hello,

If it is the yellow evap sensor you are talking about, the white ones were prone to water ingress. Then giving out-if-range readings to the control module.

The heaters are around 5 Ohms. and there is a newer modified version of that too now. I have them in-stock, please PM me if you want one.

It sounds to me as if the thermistor could be faulty. Set it to a forced defrost and then see if the heater starts to warm up. Often what happens is the sensor is faulty after a 30-90 seconds you will hear a click from the rear board and the power to the heater will be cut. Also have the sensor from stock.

    Let me know

    Hello,

    Motorised baffle are common failures.

But it could be the thermistor, don’t have the part number to hand but it is sold by whilrpool, ASD Connect.

Sure the baffle has been replaced?
Tried sliding ity open and see if it closes?

Have you tried with the fridge door lamp switch o/c or c/c?

    Hello,

Have a look for the ice tray sensor (thermistor) coming loose from the underneath.

    Let me know?

Re: VTD65 Hotpoint PCB Module Program

    Thanks for the reply.

I sent a PNE in to Connect and they came back with 2 parts. An eeprom and PCB Module.

I spoke with my Brother who has a hand held unit.

Apparently, I have to buy this one time use Eeprom and pop it into this machine after replacing the board and it has a one time use, dispose of?

    Sounds like a plan!

Re: Domestic and General cutting agents

We used to do a lot for D&G, then they cut us down to nothing.

LM cannot even find the courtesy to respond to emails and letters we and others have sent in response to this.

We have always given great service, never fell below 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} first time fix inc gas work, even hit 93{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} FTF one qtr.

More annoying is the complete idiots they have replaced us with who they often ask us to mop up after. Sadly, despite then fixing and pacifying the client. They will then never renew with D&G.

What D&G seem not to be able to comprehend is that once you have upset and lost a customer, you have lost them for good. Despite trading behind manufacturers Brand names.

What D&G will not be able to do is replace The good Independent Engineers (Many of whome still take on and train their own Engineers) once they have fallen by the wayside. Insurers will then be at the mercy of manufacturers or costly write offs.

End of, best get your act together Miss M.

Re: Strange AEG Wm fault Diagnosis Mode

How do you get these machines into diagnosis mode?

I am going to one today. When start is selected, a few clicks can be heard but the red lamp simply flashes.

I am thinking possibly the interlock?
