    Re: hoover dryer dead

Has this dryer got a display board on it with a triangular neon under the word start?

If it has then the on light comes on when the on/off button is pushed in. The triangular start neon should then flash until you press start.

If the on light is on but the triangular start neon dosen’t flash then I would assume the pcb is at fault.

Hope i’ve got the right model. 😕

Re: Servis dishwasher M4605AL no go

This machine displays faults by all leds 1-5 being on. one of which will be flashing. The flashing led indicates a fault.

    Just for your information.

To reset the programme hold down the start button for 3 seconds, the programme led will flash, keep holding start button until programme led goes off.

From what you are saying it sounds light the programme is just starting. have you left the cycle long enough to see if a fault code emerges?

    hope this helps.

Had the same fault as you on this dishwasher. Did you find out what the problem was?

Re: For Those That Missed It…

Trouble is we had to balance spec, price, warranty and all the rest of it at once and, of course, everyone wants something a little different in that mix.

I know. Don’t get me wrong! I appreciate the effort(s) that must have gone into this. Its good to have all of the ISE machines to sell.

My point really was about the ‘spec’ which is what I believe the customer initially looks at. I would love to think the sale was about just me and what I can offer but that’s not the real world. We all know how fickle customers can be!!!

Agreed. I just hope my ‘in the first year go back to hoover, second year onwards come back to me’ sinks in. I believe it does but I can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. Unlike you can with selling the ISE.

My main concern is the spin speed and drum size, rather than the repairing afterwards.

Re: For Those That Missed It…

I am thinking of £259 including delivery and installation. At the moment I am doing a Hoover HNL7166, 1600 spin, 6kg drum for £289 delivered and installed. The fact that the ISE2 is only a 1200 spin 5kg is a shame. Most of my customers are after a minimum 6kg drum capacity. I think if you price it any higher than this you will scare people off.

You can pick up new slave units (91201337) for about £7. no need to spend £20.

Did you lubricate up the pulleys and rear bearing while you had it all stripped down? this is where i find most noises stem from.

Check for tub damage. Had a few split under top weight. Also check dispenser isn’t leaking, on last rinse, this can cause water to run down to sump area.

Had a few do this when the pump is open circuit. If not that check with hoover that the board you fitted is the correct one.

You could try GBDAR on 01942 601 604. The part number you need is DC61-20219E. Your lucky Connect want £97 from me for that door seal.

    😯

I think the true price is around the £20 – £25 mark.
