Electrue show various parts, plus a complete door/hinge/glass assembly. Their photo dosen’t show a handle. Door inner on its own £4.00. Door assembly complete £39.00.

Check the thermistor hasn’t come away from bracket, (take front of door off, thermistor is held in place by the dispenser.)

Re: How do the Hotpoint washer dryers dry full loads?

I’m sure the fan motor is the same on the previous 5kg wash 2.5kg dry machines as the later 5kg wash 5kg dry.
My mate has a WS130 hoover washer/dryer 5kg wash 2.5 kg dry, he has always washed and dryed a full load (5kg) even though I told him not to. He achieves this by putting the dryer on twice.

Is it the breather tube you want? connect number 5031689379854. The hose has been modified more like a drain hose now.

I just assumed they increased the number of minutes on the dryer timer. This is what i’ve seen with the hoover 5kg wash 5 kg dry machines.(225 minutes maximum time. Used to be 180 minutes maximum.) Same with the normal dryers 140 minutes 6kg, 160 minutes 7.5 kg.

3E error on the previous model meant ‘motor restriction error’, motor not running. I am guessing the code is still the same for this model.

part number 750000500. I think they are the same as alot of the old servis bearing kits. For example unifit bearing kit 3901 from homespare should do, and is a much better price.

Does the motor judder before it aborts to error message? If it does I’ve had this a few times, Main PCB at fault.

    Re: Hoover six tearing clothes!

Check that the door seal is ok. There should be a triangular piece of seal at the 12 oclock position. I’ve noticed that with heavy use and large loads this part of the seal wears away which allows clothes to fall forward and catch on the drum. Easy to compare the wear if you have a new seal to hand.

Make sure there is no bra wire under the drum which is occasionally pinging up.

Get the customer to check there isn’t a thorn bush near her washing line. I had this years ago, the customer was convinced it was the washing machine that was plucking her clothes.
