If you have a tiny drain hole at the bottom of the seal then this is the one with tube. You have to look carefully as it is only very small. (fold back the seal, right at the bottom)

ISE had them therefore Asko too. All the ones I sold the bearings still failed but they were getting more than normal usage.

To be fair those rivets are so soft they drill out quicker than unscrewing three screws…

I know this sounds extreme, can you swap the machine with a family or friends to prove the point?
(Assuming they don’t live in the same road as you)

Don’t listen to a word the customers says, they make it up as they go along.
(Unless of course they are answering the questions you are putting to them, that’s where the answers lie)

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

Due to the fact I couldn’t get anywhere close to doing the minimum 25 mods a week (which is one of the prerequisites). I did pose the offer to my Father in law, who is a retired electrician / comms engineer.
Having seen the video I’m glad he turned the offer down, as I believe, even with training, it is far to involved for someone who has never worked on appliances. There are too many parts of the mod that can be missed out or incorrectly worked.
If I was Hotpoint I would be concerned who will be carrying out the modifications, I reckon there will be more issues to resolve post mod than pre mod.

    Re: Homespares

I had this same chap phone me three times, each time he had forgotten we’d already spoken.
He apologised at first about Homespares closing my account through inactivity and that it should never of happened then when we spoke on the 3rd occasion he said if I didn’t start using the account again he would close it down again.
I said that’s no way to gain new custom, he then put the phone down on me.
    Charming…

I love the voice over, sounds like he is in a foreign country and having to speak slowly and clearly to make the waiter understand what he’s ordering.
