Can be motor wiring or motor open circuit. Other than that module.

As we know the drum bolt is earthed. So there must be a leak to earth somewhere? Could it just be down to static discharge at fast speed?

Re: Beko WM 5100w Not Heating

Engineers get alot of calls saying the machines not heating when actually it is.
What are your symptoms? Poor wash? Cold at end of cycle?

Blimey thats a difficult one to call.

You can only but run with a door lock and see?

(Not sure if this machine looks for a circuit through valves, heater, motor etc before starting? I would still expect the door to lock first though?)

    Re: Qualtex Bosch heater:- QUAHTR72

IIRC Martins problem was down to there being no shoulder on the replacement heater where the original Bosch did. The Qualtex patten ones i’ve used do have a shoulder so Im not sure what the problem is with them? Touch wood I’ve not had any issues with them.
Saying that as a rule I apply deebor & fit a retaining bracket on them to be on the safe side.

On these occasions I always say I will do it at a reduced rate.
That may only be £5 difference but its still reduced. As long as she dosen’t check what your normal rate is.

Quite common to do this. Its not a fault as such its just locked up. You generally can sort it by cleaning the programme selector (been discussed on here many a time). As well as going mental twiddling the dial. Sometimes holding the start button & turning the dial, from OFF, back one click does the trick too.
Or you could replace the board. Not too bad a price.

Had she not got a reply she wopuld have assumed you dont open till 9 and called back.

I doubt it very much, she would have still called the next person.

Unfortunately people are more demanding than ever, even if i was with my children I would just say Im in a customers house at the moment, as I do think customers see that as a more professional reason. I know we’ve all got family ties but you know how easliy customers get their noses out of joint.

I don’t know if leaving any form of guide with the customer is going to do any good in the majority of cases

I’d much rather the customer stay ignorant, we all make a good living from it. You can tell them til your blue in the face…

Make sure the pins of the field coil are pushed firmly home.
This may mean stripping the motor down again. If your careful you may be able to do it externally.
