ParticipantRe: Servis DMPDC H8 module small resistor value.
I can’t offer anything other than if power lights on and door locks then definitely module at fault. If you’ve tried changing the resistor etc then all you can do is change the board.
As I’m sure you know its the white resistors that go open circuit which stop the module functioning. 5k6 in value, if my memory serves me correctly.

ParticipantRe: Naylon Hand Pads
do you think there’s something wrong with trying to find a better way of doing things?
No of course not. But you, reading your last post, have thrown in a few variables. So you won’t know if the Naylon experience has helped or not??
I can’t believe that experts would ever suggest to re-use an old shaft.
(It seems a shame to go to all that bother and not change the shaft in the process.)

I always do the same as Jim.
I’m sure the result is the same.
I’m suprised that you spent so much time looking into this as its the condition of the shaft rather than the collar thats decides the route of repair.
In the tests you’ve undertaken have you got any machines out there where you didn’t clean the collar? I’m sure these would be doing just as well.
6 to 8 months, I believe, is not long enough to prove its working. Once you have gone past how long the original bearings lasted then theres your proof.

Excellent, thanks.

ParticipantRe: Bosch WEP2820
You don’t want to be ordering parts on just the premise of a fault error on this model as parts are pretty expensive. I think the model is probably WET rather than WEP.
Depending on the pump fitted you can get away with a plaset screw-in type pump, preferably with a TOC.
You definitely don’t want to be ordering up a quadruple valve needlessly.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint BF1620 Dishwasher
Its a BFI 620. This will help if you want to do a search on it.
No heat to element is a common board fault. The thermistor comes with the new board.
The tripping, well thats difficult to call. Overheated heater connector, cooked terminals on board, not sure.
The heater clamps can be easily re-used by not unclipping them but by using a flat edged srew driver to open up the pinch.

The three is an error code, rather than number of minutes.
I cant remember the codes exactly?
It may be a time-out for pumping if 3 is shown.
I think 1 in display is time-out for filling.
Check obvious, pump, bolckages, pressure chamber, valve coils and insulation of heaters.

Is it similar to this?
No conclusion as of yet but may be worth re-opening?

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WD420 – Water inlet valve wiring
I’m sure that your machine is wired correctly. Hotpoint have made a number of changes to this type of washer dryer.
The original machines used to only fill hot if the machine had to top up more than four times on the initial fill sequence.
The newer versions of this model are cold fill only now.

ParticipantRe: hotpoint bwd129
Did you change the door lock before you fitted the replacement board?
Did you pinch the connections to the board?

ParticipantRe: creda tcr2
When you say its still tripping did it work for a while after you changed the pump?
Did you change the heater?
Is it the heater thats low insulation?

ParticipantRe: SERVIS M6100S
If your lucky the paddles from an ISE2 could fit. Give ISE a ring to see if they stock them.

The normal stuff really.

From known error codes;
dishwasher fault codes with bit 100 pcb(written on serial no)
led1=overflow water in base
led2=inlet valve
led3=thermister
led4=timeout heating
1+2timeout draining. EDIT 1+2 can also be Software recognition error.
2+3timeout filling
1+3filters blocked
1+4software error
2+4heater
3+4timer hardwareEDIT For dishwashers with 7 Led’s (BFI 68 etc ) read Led’s 4 to 7 as code numbers 1 to 4. ie; 4 = 1, 5 = 2 etc.
