    Re: RANGEMASTER 11O TOP

There are 3 or 4 screws under the control panel – remove them, then there are the same along the top. Pull off the knobs and the fascia comes off. Then remove all the screws holding the gas burners in place (3 in each) then you can lift the top up and prop it to give you access to everything. Reassembly is just the reverse, but it can be tricky lining all the burner screws up.

Re: Beko washing machine drain problem

I’ve had the drain hose off and shoved something down it – I was expecting a 5p, but nothing. It plumbs in under the sink.
She’s back from her current holiday on Saturday, so I’ll probably spend an exciting monday morning hauling it out again.

I’ve had the ball out and is seemed fine – it’s worth a try, I’ll give it a good wash, or maybe just misplace it.

I’m sure the water is being thrown up the inlet pipe and out the dispenser. There is a bit of rust at the bottom edge of the dispenser and a clear run mark down the inside of the front panel.

So they do (well not hundreds, but a few and that’s enough). Don’t know why I didn’t think of that.

    thanks

Thanks for that. I didn’t realise there was a separate solenoid for the flap, probably best to order one rather than have to take apart twice.

    Thanks

I had a look at the board and checked the connections at the time, so I’ll assume the module is faulty. I doubt they’ll replace the module given the price.

I’ve missed one then. Hopefully it’s the problem.

Remember to change the pulley first – the replacement is smaller than the one originally fitted. I made the mistake of just trying to replace the belt the first time I came across one and lets just say there was a lot of blood involved…

Re: NEFF B14M62N0GB cooling fan running all the time

I’ve just re-read my post and realised I’ve written open when I meant closed. Wednesday wasn’t a good evening to try and do anything work related…

It must be a faulty thermostat on the replacement. The oven had been on earlier in the day, but it was cool by the time I arrived.

So that doesn’t explain why the fan is stuck on…

If anyone else has had a similar problem I’d appreciate any input.

thanks, I do have a stock of capacitors I just needed the correct rating. I have only replaced heaters on these and that’s not an easy job – I expect this will be even less fun with my huge hands…
