Ditto in my case and to replace it is to order the whole blooming wiring loom and use that particular loom for the floor indicator light. I’ve passed the full cost to the customer. They were relived that they don’t need to order a new dishwasher. Now I am waiting on the back order of the loom…week ending 14th April…. good job I have an extremely patience customer…

The weird thing is that the module was fried by a slug. Customer asked if this would be covered by the Hotpoint “ten years free parts” guarantee.

I explained that this kind of thing is kinda out of Hotpoint’s control as it is not their fault that a slug took a liking to the board thus frying it in the process. In short answer that would be a no, unless I am wrong, please correct me.

I have sent it off to EMW in the vain hope that they can repair or exchange.

That’s often the case with these kind of dishwasher due to it relatively low purchase price. It’s worrying that it’s only 18 months old and the paperwork is lost due to house purchases. They moved in and the dishwasher is already there. They have no money for a new one so it’s likely it will be a repair option.

Re: Beko DW – DIN26x20 – control module

Thanks guys, will have a look on the dishwasher. I am aware that there is an earth fault somewhere. I suspect that it would be very obvious. The door wires has crossed my mind, I did have a look at it then and not found anything obvious (yet). I guess a second visit will give me a fresh look and see what it could be.

Although it does appears to be the board, which was why I am asking for advice as I know that there’s nothing wrong with the board itself which left me puzzled. Now I’m armed with the knowledge and shall conquer it.

yes and it returned on insulation tester as zero, isolated every components that come into contact with earth and still come back as zero.

Went to the board, unplugged each connecter and refit one by one, got some decent reading until I plugged the longest connecter and it went zero. Along those connector, each terminal were returning a reading of 1 until I reached to the brown lead terminal which I traced it right to live. Clearly it looks like something must have crossed over somewhere?

the original machine with this model was made 2008 so I assume those details may be out of date if its only 18 month old

I no longer have Qualtex account, got thrown out on the lack of use. I even had a Masterpart account which now no longer exists since Qualtex took over. I live in Birmingham and Connection is my main supplier. Qualtex get used twice a year and in nearly every cases with them costed me a lot more in money and time. Thank you for the link and the picture does look similar.

The lamp holder is in perfect nick. The terminals have good contacts. Very tricky to trace the cable when I thought I was looking for a white cable which in fact was pink. The pink colour must have discoloured by the heat.

This is the second time I have come across it in two months. Both Neff – pyro type irrespective of door type. Wondering if EMW would be able to solve it by replacing the relay? I don’t know if my customers want to go without a working oven for few days.

Thank you for letting me know, I attended another Neff oven with exact same fault. Bulb blew and replaced bulb, no light.

Checked wiring and PCB modules- clean as a whistle

Wonder if it one of many relay switches is faulty?

    Any ideas?

Is it just the module or display module.
