I’ve received ???Genuine??? parts like this before and wondered if they were genuine! I couldn’t tell that it wasn’t genuine so gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I’ll keep an eye this in the future.

I thought it might be that but most of the instantaneous heaters I’ve fitted have had the divertor fitted.

This was my thinking too, also I would have thought the same would apply if the machine foamed up during the wash.

She stooped using the 5 in 1 tabs a while ago because I suspected it could be a problem.

I don’t think she pre-washes in the sink, I only suggest customers scrape the plates off before putting in the dishwasher.

My price for the 5031682621806 is priced @ 8.20+VAT

I think there pricing policy is ridiculous.

On quite a lot of the spares they are one of the dearest suppliers around, quite a few items are a lot dearer than paying retail with the supplier direct including postage!

Vacuum’s, like women, defy the laws of physics. They can suck yet blow at the same time.

Wow sounds like the perfect mistress………

You don’t have to wine and dine it, or buy it flowers, low maintenance, easy to turn on, doesn’t say no and lives under the stairs.

Maybe if we can combine a Henrietta with a Microwave Oven it could cook as well……..I reckon it would sell!

Re: Neff S5456X3GB/24 Dishwasher Side panel leaks.

After chewing the gum to stick on the hole it gave me time to contemplate the situation.

I scratched up the surface with some emery paper to give a better key then used some thin plastic sheet similar to a plastic motor cover and stuck it in place with Fernox LSX.
LSX is great stuff, it sticks to wet surfaces like the proverbial to a blanket, remains flexible and will withstand freezing/boiling temperatures.

Now all I have to do is keep my fingers crossed.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    Re: EMW, 6 MONTHS,NOW NOT 12?

I had to replace an EMW repaired Merloni PCB that was only fitted 4 months ago.

Also had a merloni board with blown tracks due to inlet valve wire shorting against case. When replaced multiple lights came up on the display PCB which could have been caused by a spike when the main board blew. The machine’s not worth repairing!

Again I agree with most of you, if we can only give customers 6 months guarantee on the boards couple with the other aggravation we get with Merloni electronics it’s no worth the hassle.
