ParticipantRe: Bosch Dishwasher not draining
The invisible bit of glass in the drain part of the matrix….
Unfortunatley not,
Always works OK when the anti-flood switch is operated, never when it should via the control panel.

ParticipantRe: fuse creda
I’ve changed one of these fuses in the past. The end caps will prize off with a little care (and luck). I’m not 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure but I think I used a small 6.3amp fuse I carry for microwaves. If you need a Parts Center pt number let me know.
If you can’t get the end caps off or if the wire breaks it would probably be worth getting a small inline fuse holder, this would make life infinitely easier should it go again.

Moved to the TRADE area by the way
Oops! thought it was in the trade area!
hoses can get buggered if you push it against the wall
I had considered this too.
I don’t think I will be repairing unless they agree to have the back included in the repair.
Thanks.

I don’t use this facility but it looks as if you can. This link takes you to the help pages. You just set up a bill payment.

Most of the agents that I work for pay direct into the account but I haven’t paid suppliers that way yet, still considering it.

Like others here, I use Abbey business Banking.
I am a sole trader and so far have been able to keep under the threshold of free banking.
I changed over to Abbey nearly 3 years ago and so far no problems.

ParticipantRe: Partscenter Friend or Foe??????
Haven’t you noticed…………..the Parts Center website has now started to auto save the orders.
There is also a change that allows you to put a job reference on a part when you place it in basket.
So it looks like there are some improvements.

I have to admit I was surprised when they didn’t recognise the number!

ParticipantRe: Bosch WTA3003GB/01 Felt seal
Contacted BSH who said they didn’t recognise the part no. 310035 and the drawing didn’t show any adhesive. I also contacted a couple of other suppliers who couldn’t shed any light on it.
As I wasn’t sure about which adhesive and the only carpet strength tape was wide and would have required a lot of messing around I thought I would try a heat resistant silicone as suggested by a supplier.
When I done the job I did find remnants of an adhesive as boro said, the rear bearing was not breaking away from the drum so it’s a case of wait and see if it works.
So far so good!

ParticipantRe: Bosch WTA3003GB/01 Felt seal
Thanks again guys,
I will be picking up some double sided sticky tape and fitting another seal.
With regards to the ‘small’ amount of play in the rear bearing; is this likely to make matters worse?

ParticipantRe: Bosch WTA3003GB/01 Felt seal
Thanks Penguin,
I replaced the front bearings while I had the machine stripped down.
When I changed the seal and front bearings I noticed a small amount of play but I didn’t think it was too significant.
Would a small amount of play cause the front seal to come out?

the Rasta plugKeith.
This plug must have the wires matted into a sort of mesh.
Mike.Only after I’ve been working on it! Cheaper than cable ties 🙂

ParticipantRe: wm61p Motor plug
Thanks iodom, this relates to what I remember when I last fitted one. I recollect the wires were all one position out on the Rasta plug but I couldn’t remember for sure and which way. Checking the Tacho wires for positioning makes sense.
Thanks to bendaireboy for the tech info on that model too.
Keith.

ParticipantRe: wm61p Motor plug
I have the motor which already has the pin with it and I have been supplied a 1601400 motor plug. Unfortunately no wiring chart to replace the new plug.
