any thing else is going to cost to repair in 10 years time , what will wages be and what will inflation be .Thinking 10 years ahead you would need a crystal ball , to find that out.
It will also depend on how well you look after the machine and maintain it during that time as well .

Calgon will be no good in dispenser ,as water in dispenser is incoming flow. Calgon goes in drum so only cleans the drum.

Polystyrene disc is anti flood device, if machine leaks into base disc rises and switches water inlet valves off and drain pump on.

Ice or frost .It should get a layer of frost then when the compressor shuts down it should then defrost the plate completely before starting up again.
Bananas should be at room temperature if yellow or chilled if green to stop them ripening and turning yellow.
