Thank you for that Kentish. It is just over thirteen years old. PCB was my second guess. I will hope it is no more than a dry joint when I go back. Thank you again. Steve.

Thanks fellas. This machine is outside in a stable, so very possible that you are correct. I’ll check it out. Steve.

I’m sure you will be aware, but just in case, I went to one of these, not sure if it was the same model, but there is a switch on the filter door. Steve.

Hi, I know I said all, but the progress lights don’t flash, just the horizontal programme lights. Sorry for misleading. PCB was my thought also.

Aha, that makes sense Dave. This dryer was in a small shower room, probably used with the door shut then.
    Cheers

Cheers for that Dave. Do you know what the cause of the problem is? I couldn’t find anything obviously wrong, but was beginning to suspect the dreaded NTC fault. I will try your suggestion and let you know. Steve.

Cheers Dave. The manual would be appreciated, but there are no numbers relating to the ones you have given. The rating plate shows the following : Model no as shown. 5023790. 028318.
DOK XL 2879501900. Thank you. Steve.

Yes Dave, I have checked the heater relay visually, and it is ok. The NTC is a type I haven’t seen before, but it could be switching early I suppose. The price of the board makes the NTC an avenue worth taking. Thank you for your reply. I’ll let you know how it goes. Cheers. Steve,

Interlock? Interlock connections? If not it looks as if it could be modular.
    Steve.

Dryer heater checked out ok. I think it must be the power supply. Thank you for your help fellas. Steve.

I checked this out, and it is all clear. I guess I’m looking at a bit of a strip down job to sort this one . . . . . . . unless someone knows differently 🙂 . Cheers. Steve.
