Yes the relay is on the PCB, and easily repairable

I have come across this also. The light bezels should be all one piece, and are dead awkward to line up when broken.. To stop the board moving, I held it in place with a small tie wrap, ok, not the done thing, but never the less effective. I can’t remember if I had to drill a small hole in the corner of the board for the tie wrap to go through, or if the hole was already there, but it worked. Steve

Have you checked the heater relay for a dry joint? Notorious on these machines.

I should add that I had to take the number off the old stat. It sounds as if you have the same problem. Stoves (Glen Dimplex) 0151 426 7011 and ask for spares dept. They were very helpful, no discount but at least I got it sorted. Steve

Not sure then. I was just wondering if they had done what Zanissi did with some of their stats. I doesn’t sound like the right part. I had this last year with a Stoves cooker, my local supplier had a right carry on, and kept getting the wrong part sent. It wasn’t their fault as it turned out. Some sort of mistake down the line. I ended up going directly to Stoves who checked the part before they sent it. Sorry, I can’t help. Steve

Hello Seamy, thanks for the reply. Yes, checked all that. No float switch fitted. The flow rate through the inlet valve seems to be the prob so will change that. Cheers. Steve.

Re: Fitting a new support tube on Hotpoint twin tub

As far as I am aware, unless you know differently, or you happen to have one lying around, the seal kits for the TT’s are obsolete. Depending on the condition of said TT, I would be very wary about a repair like this, it could come back and bite in a few weeks time. No offence meant, just my opinion. Steve

    Re: Baumatic oven blowing timer

Sounds like it is the lampholder. It is a problem I came across a few times when I was working for hotpoint. The fault only occurring with heat. difference is we just used to change anything to try and cure the fault hehe. I would go for the lampholder first and see if I could repair the tracks on the timer to prove te fault.

Yes, they usually hinge on the right hand side like the washers
