    heat exchanger aka condenser I keep a thin piece of plastic for poking through and removing stubborn bits of fluff.

    isnt there a clip on the outside of the sump hose that stops this happening? you proberbly need a new hose

    worst week ever?……….yes this is it….proberbly everyone is takeing advantage to get away before the kids go back.. but that aside there seems to be real hardship out there and I agree with other posters more DIYers and people putting up with leaks,noises and part working appliances where as a couple of years ago they would have had a repair

    just done a job for a motor trader he was telling me he went to one of his contacts on a buying visit and saw a 10 year old ford kar 13000 on the clock showroom perfect.
    ” wow I’ll have that”
    ” sorry no you wont its GOT to be scrapped”
    little old lady traded it in for a new one

    you cannot tell me that scrapping perfectly servicable equipment is good for anything enviroment manufacturing service industry etc etc

    a point worth remembering is that screw tub take a 1603287 belt while the welded tub takes a 1605481, I remember since I went out without checking first with the wrong belt.

    thanks for the help it was a smeg
    a hair grip stuck in the pump I also took the front off to check the air chamber…………..what a **** place to put it behind the weight!!!!!! the air hose blew through clear so I didt go any further, like trying to remove the weight (does that open the tub?) :rolls:

    the last few weeks have been “steadyish” this week monday and tuesday ok but now its just died I hope its just the holidays.

    check the resistance of the valve if the pump is used as a ballast for the valve a short valve would run the pump.
