Re: How to seperate sealled Drum

stripping a tub apart and knocking bearings and changing spider is hard work but just to pull one unit out and put in another thats a different matter. I know most of my customers would proberbly balk at prices much over £125 all in. when it comes to it and I’m confronted with a sealed tub change I’ll see what happens. what I dont want to do though is to get involved with disposal of old tubs this could push the costs to BER.

when times are hard it,s 40 quid in your pocket or nothing. it’s a pretty simple job so I think I’d proberbly take the 40 quid.

    Re: wf250

I find that quite often the problem is initally caused by sticky drinks etc being spilt and running off a worktop and down the machine . a wipe only cleans the front and the buttons jamb requiring a firmer push and with such “robust” construction component failure is the result.
zanussi knobs suffered the same trouble

when I can I’m now fitting connect ELE9036 if I can, its 2300watt but costs over twice as much but seem much more reliable so no call backs………….yet! the extra cost is worth it as far as I’m concerned as it keeps the customer happy and is an easy profitable little job.

chris Ive looked at the disc and found some codes 🙂 (I hate acrobat reader 😡 ) which Ive put on known errors still think its board as machine wont do anything but flash prewash. EMW list this as common fault
