    Re: samsung rs21 fridge temperature

Self diagnostics are normally pretty reliable. It’s what they can’t detect that causes problems. But what they can’t detect is easily diagnosed with a multimeter/quote]

Not quite right on the samsung models..The sensor reading with a multi tester or anything else id a waste of time as they don’t give continued constant readings. Also the correct readings are only available if tested at a continued constant ambient temperature.

The defrost sensor is changed at all points where there is a defrost fault full stop..

    Hi

The only way this will be freezing the fridge is either the flap is staying open or that the vents are blocked.the temp settings should be middle settings for both.

    Re: Samsung the new network

ooohh I wanted to bring this up a few weeks ago but its been burning in my pocket like a bundle of £50 notes…There has only been a handful of the new contracts out there and Samsung are trying to keep those details under wraps..

It’s also RUMOURED.that a very senior service person who is above carl nicklin made a statement at one of the last conferences of the following ::

We want Samsung to be no.1 BUT necessarily the best..Maybe they could work on getting their appliances to last and work correctly before trying to master a market they cant make an appliance correctly yet..

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about getting the existing “clips” off? 😕

    Re: September meeting

    OK

September 2011 is confirmed for the 24th which is a saturday.room web page will be done in the next few weeks.

As for the FEB 2012 meeting I have provisionally booked the 24th February also.

Can I make a suggestion that we allow Ian dales to contact the companies as he has already been getting them together and liaise with us to confirm which companies are attending and any suggestions for companies are passed over to Ian to arrange with.

Re: american fridge freezer / fridge not cooling HELLLPPPPPP

    Hi

Turn off the fridge freezer and open the doors to allow it to defrost for 48 hours. When you turn it back on it should work ok and be back to normal in 2 to 4 hours.[quote:233g1nv3]

If this is in the fridge section then the problem WILL come back as you would most likely have had a block of ice on the back left wall about 1/3 of the way up.

E-mail me samsung@ffrservices.co.uk and i can supply the mod kit for this.

    Hi

The defrost sensor will need to be moved and the appliance fully defrosted.
