If it is working and Samsung could never tell the engineers what the hell it is used or operating then join them together.
If samsung couldn’t tell the samsung engineers then you have no chance.Join them together and you will find that you’ll not have a problem.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and support, my wife asked what i was going to do now and i said start again, this is all i know.
So me and Paul will rebuild but we keep it smaller this time, being the biggest around isn’t always the best as i have learnt the hard waySimon

Martin. That depends on the manufacturer of the hood also stating the same..if not then it is 760.as the majority of hood manufacturers don’t specify output then it reverts back to BS standard as is gas regs. Unless of course you’ve done gas safe training since I was last on the course and it has changed.

Well the cooker hood must be 760mm from the top of the burners unless both the cooker instructions AND the cooker hood instructions are of the same manufacturer.

This is still covered under a 5yr parts warranty which will only cost the customer £119.75 including all parts and labour.
Why do you think it needs a regas ?
I take it you haven’t done the running test as these are only designed to run at 40oc

Hi
Easy way is to remove the glass from the bar support and refit it in the upright position.
The purpose of the safety device is when the lid is closed it turns the gas off so it does not shatter and break.

One of the rangemaster old battery powered one should do.I’ll have a look see if I’ve got one. did have one but it does’nt like 240v and they go bang :eeek: .
