Thanks. Does the liner come without any fitments then? Sounds like I use my old egg containers and various boxes and the bar that holds the milk in and just order liner and egg container lids?

Send them both to me at the return address on the label stuck to the packaging.

I’ll then send the correct one back to you after I’ve physically matched it up.

    Dave.

    ok thanks 😀

    Thanks for your fast response.

I will order the thermostat kit. Do you have a part no for the fluff filter so I can replace that?

Could you please tell me where I will find the thermostats.

    Re: LG DOOR STUCK

    hi,

Possibly the doorlatch(the white handle) that operates the hook, cheap thing which can break…or the door lock.

The catch was not a spare part..meaning whole door required. Model and serial no required to get correct one.

    The lock is only electrical.

Nope, ludicrous price that is :eeek:

What voltage and thread fitting is it ? There must be an alternative supply somewhere.

    Dave.

    5 watt, 255 (240) volt ses.

Trust me I have searched high and low throughout my many contacts and cant source one anywhere other than Smeg.

Well stuff em…………. I knicked 1 out of a display model.

Not proud, but if anybody at Smeg wants to discuss this at a more public level I’m game.

    Re: New Campaign

    morning,

I can understand the thought behind what you suggest.

BUT, whilst I do not receive a mark up on Connect work I am invoicing 320 plus calls a month to them and at £37.50 minimum + vat, its serious work. They do pay again for part failure in guarantee and for recalls that are not down to me. Rejection rates are so minimal its not worth arguing about with a ber of £30.00 and Credits for damage ect are easy to get.
I think it would be unwise of me to join such a campaign when so many of our fellow repairers are hungray for work. Plus Jason and Phil at either side of me would swallow the work without a seconds thought for me.

Connect are the only contract I do not receive a mark up on and I think a better idea(from my business position) would be to champion the £40.00 per call target, for all contracts.

Unfortunately, the service didn’t carry through. Was told that somebody will call me on Sat to let me know about price for part. Nobody called. I called on Sat afternoon and was told it’s being sorted and will be told on Monday. Again I called on Monday as nobody at Capital had called me back. Was told engineer is off sick and will be back on Tuesaday (today). Called today and was told engineer would be in later. Called in the afternoon and was told engineer is not in and Spares dept cannot do anything until they have spoken to engineer. Will call again tomorrow to check on progress. 👿

You need a new fan motor Paul

Pretty much what I expected…. – generally speaking, is this an “expensive” repair? – is it a DIY-able piece of work?

The full model number is: HBN435AGB/01 (E-Number), and 7802 (FD)

    Thanks.
