Re: glass door for Sheffield 1100 range cooker

    Hello whirlpool agents…..

you guys might be able to help as plenty of whirlpool oven inner door glasses become unglued and you replace the whole of the inner door panel.
That means you have available “reflective glass by the bucket load as this is a common fault and you do do shed loads.

So how about offering a piece to our futureboy and see if its large enough for him to get cut to his size….then a tube of high temp glue from dave_conway and the jobs a good un

oh and thanks to the manufacturer of the said inner door panel 😛

Re: Hotpoint 9555P – fault code EE – help !!

    😥 that’s a shame – I love my 9555….

re: code – well I use to get CC when it was a bit temperamental (over the years) but this is a first with the EE. (can send photo/mpeg if want..)

well I’ll see if I can get a new/recon. control module – as they say there’s no harm in trying.

Re: MAKES of new ones – I see you favour the Bosch – I was told to go for a Siemens by my local Appliance Spares guy last year … what’s the concensus on them ? Plus, what do you mean by expensive ones ? I’d rather have a idea on Model numbers than pricing – particularly what you can get on the internet/ebay etc….

Martin, not sure the previous message got through.

Anyway thanks for the reply – not sure what you mean by black spots.

Actually managed to get it to work for a rinse cycle but its gone again and can’t repeat what I did last time. From a display point of view everything looks as though its going, i.e. the time counts down, unfortunately its not though.

it may be that your appliance does have a 2 year parts and labour warranty depending on the age of it.Leibherr started the 2 yr waranty approx 2yrs ago so give them a call on 01977 665559.

    Hi Martin,

I gave up. I put the module on another machine and the code is still the same.

Any idea where I can buy a module?
Can I use my 5 years parts warranty?

If you have something can you contact me @
    dimo.tonchev@analog.com.

    Thanks, Dimo

Re: Some interesting questions for retailers

Whenever I asked I was always fobbed off with something like – ‘there is an area in which dodgy agents can scrap good machines and con us’

And servis had the galls to qote that…lol 😛 😛
They probably want them back to strip for parts to charge out at fantastic prices again. 😀
