ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZDT6252 is this just a valve ?
Thanks Seamy, M/c does not fill so I thought more likely just a valve.
I’ve been told it’s got some sort of anti flood protection buit into the valve if that has any bearing on it ?allan73
ParticipantRe: I should cocoa!
I seem to get asked more and more to give estimates over the phone these days, but never do.
Could it be these people want to avoid my modest call out charge 💡

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint TCL 770 dryer water on heater & stats.
Cleaned out drain hole etc still happened again a week later 😡
Didn’t check if it was against an outside wall, might be something in that what with the weather being so cold lately.
Other than that could it be intermittent pump but shouldn’t that just trigger the float switch ?allan73
ParticipantRe: Ariston A1235
Have you checked the motor toc ?

ParticipantRe: How would you deal with a customer like this??
Customers like this are the best reason I can see for call out charges up front, over the phone 😡

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Expert
Strange that, thought F05 would be the code for that one but I suppose if it’s not completly blocked the outlet……

ParticipantRe: Creda 37377 belt.
I’ve now told the customer the stretch belt is not a suitable fix and she’s agreed to wait for the correct belt, it’s only going to be a few day’s anyway. I’m sure somebody (possibly a hotpoint/Indesit engineer) told me the stretch belt was now considered an adequate replacement, but I can’t be sure who told me this 😕

Customer doesn’t want to wait for the correct belt Jim :rolls:
I know the old way is far better but the customer is always right 😉allan73
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Expert
Jim’s the real Hotpoint expert on here 😉 but I had one of these with F10 the other week. Tried a pressure switch first ( they can fail I’m told ) didn’t reset though turned out to be board.
Hope this helps

Idealy you want one with the same 904 number but if you find one with a similar number and the connections match you might get away with it.

ParticipantRe: S’now joke
