    Thanks Steve
The clicking noises seem to be coming from the timer not the start switch could this still be the start relay ?

So to get things back on topic, am I correct in assuming all the “tactical” bosh washing m/c’s are made in Spain ?

Re: Diplomat dishwasher Eco light on

I’m resurrecting this old thread because I had a Smeg DW with a similar fault on christmas eve. Original call was to door catch locked shut and customer had to force open. Facia panel was found to be broke where door catch assy fits in and replaced along with catch itself.
Now m/c won’t start and light 4 just flashes constantly as soon as switched on. I will try to reset as suggested on this old thread when I get back into work, other than that any thoughts guys ?

    Re: I should cocoa!

Rolf says I get round there and its the two little drainholes on a standard hotpoint wm door seal shes thinks are rips .

I was in that same situation once but with an expensive whirlpool door seal I’d ordered in 😯
Thankfully the customer was a reasonable sort and offered to pay for the seal and my call out 8)

    Re: I should cocoa!

Giving Quotes for fitting specific parts I suppose is ok but the problem is when you quote for, say a belt on a hopoint VTD00 only to discover the rear bearing & shaft are shot 😡

Door seals on washers however are probably a safe bet 8)
