ParticipantRe: Creda Energy Save series TD motor shaft worn smooth
Came across this a few times back in the day, on the one’s with single jockey pulley. I learned to check the motor shaft before trying to fit a belt annoying as you say to scrap a good motor for this reason 😡

Is this anything to do with the EU 2yr warranty I keep hearing about ❓

ParticipantRe: Stacking Kits
Does anyone know if these universal kits are ok, I’ve been told Qualtex do one also under part no MWP47.
Basically I want to stack a Hotpoint TDL30 on a Bosh WAA28168GB which is one of the tactical Bosh m/c’s.
Allan.

Are those sealed drums known for failing bearings, I don’t think I’ve come across many. It is a 1600 spin though I suppose if it’s had a hard life……

Thanks Iadom,

ParticipantRe: hotpoint dryer
If you’ve got a plug in energy monitor you can easily check if heaters switching off by monitoring the amps (or watts).

ParticipantRe: hotpoint dryer
Most likely timer, might be worth checking cap’s ok first though.

Got to fit a zanussi door seal today for a single mother who ordered the part then lost her bottle, maybe she was being a tad optimisic ❓

I had one of these doing this.I reasoned it was the main board but EMW didn’t have one in stock and I didn’t fancy sending it in for repair so directed customer back to Indesit.
Spoke to the daughter of the customer yesterday who confirmed they changed the board and all was well 🙂
They did however charge her £140 which included 12 mths cover.

Hi Bryan, I realise this was some time ago but did you ever resolve this as I have the same model with the same fault ?

ParticipantRe: Bosh WFK2801GB/01 1min in display
Thanks Phil, I’ll go back & check for earth leaks. If I can’t find any low ins is it likely to be a board fault ❓

ParticipantRe: Bosh WFK2801GB/01 1min in display
Fitted a new pump to this last week, pump was definately shot and thought all was well. Now customer complaining still aborts with 1 min in display intermittently but now it’s empty when this happens 😕
Customer also say’s it does this at end of cycle and washing seems to be spun ok.
Any Bosh guys out there who can help me out on this.
Allan.
