    Might be worth spending some time checking for yourself if it heats, I use an energy monitor for this 😉 .
    Had many reports of m/c’s not heating only to find out customer is incorrect.

    As Martin points out this m/c will be covered by Hoover’s parts warranty if less than 5 yrs old, but I did’nt realise the labour charge was reduced if under 2yrs 😯 .

    Try warming it up with a blow lamp to melt the loctite.
