    Re: Servis M9503 Tripping Electric

Does anyone have the service info for this machine? if so, can I have a copy please.

Might as well go out to it and just confirm if the motor is gone or not.

Yes… They called me… They wanted to know who I used for parts, would I order from Connect, do I do agency work “Repaircare”, and a few other questions. When I told them what thought of their prices, billing problems, repaircare pricing, etc. they hung up.

Sorry Alex.. I have been very busy..

Alex wrote:What is your insurance company doing about this?

No doubt you are fire & theft, surely they should be considering clawing this back from the Scrapper.

I am fully comp. All I can say is that the scrapyard should have rung the police before accepting the vehicle and if I get my chance on the 24th Feb I shall say something in the courts about it. 😈

I have been paid by the insurance company.. albeit only £2200 .. I value the vehicles replacement at £3500… it is a specialist vehicle size.

I have reported the scrapyard to the insurance company… they are going to confirm it with the police and go after recovery of funds from the scrapyard… so they say.

No.. my error… the police say Challoners in Wrexham

NOT Chadwicks as originally written.. My appologies to Chadwicks 😳.

Re: White Knight CL447WV won’t spin properly – help please ¬

Check to make sure that the drum is free to spin properly… If it is tight, check the bearings, if they are gone then the machine will rotate a litttle and then jam.

Apparently not… The Police say that they are not going to prosecute the scrapyard because there was a computer problem at the DVLA which meant that the scrapyard could not get the up-to-date details of the van.

I say.. If there was a problem at the DVLA, why did the scrapyard not contact the police to check if the van had been reported stolen or not.

    Re: Looking At Costs

I agree with your thinking… although I was of the understanding that ISE paid one of the better rates anyway.

      1. Raising the rate universally will just increase your costs without guaranteeing any benefit to ISE in the way of worth.

    2. A ‘Speed fo service’ incentive should entice the ‘Put ISE jobs first’ out of the repairers.

    3. Getting the ISE jobs done first should get rid of problematic situations. IMO, the thread about the ISE5 is doing damage because the dissatisfied customer is adding to other ISE5 repair threads.

mumof6 wrote:I don’t remember a time when my ISE5 was quiet! Or come to think of it I don’t remember when it worked either!

    4. I do like this one

kwatt wrote:The repairers that do a good job get a better deal, the ones that don’t.. well, don’t.

The result hopefully being similar to 2. & 3. above.
    The way I see things…

‘Speed of service’ together with a ‘Good speedy repairs’ or regular updates to customer if repair on hold.

      Results:

Gain customer trust in ISE warantee call-outs
Gain of ISE brand trust with insurers and customers
Gain of product trust with customers.
Embelishment of product visability by customer (free ‘word of mouth’ advertising).
      Gain customer satisfaction
      Anialation of customer dissatisfaction
Elimination of bad reports creating natural promotion of product.
      All-round reduction of costs.

I have not seen an ISE machine yet and so have no knowledge pertaining to their repair dificulties… parts availability, on-site stripping, etc. therefore I don’t yet have any insight into what would hold back a repairer with these machines. Having said that, you could bet your bottom dollar that if asked, ‘What is most important to you’ of a customer, the answer would be .. get it fixed and fast.

Re: ISE5 excessive vibrations when spinning.

Make sure that the machine is not tilting forward. If the machine is not level from front to rear this can cause exactly what you discribe… This is so for most machines.
