It depends wether it is the Argos model or the Hoover model, if you know what I mean … if it is the latter, you can adapt the Aquaviva 120 loom.

I know Jim, it was me, I do need to get on and re-write a few parts of that site, update some parts and finish other parts. Trouble is, it is so time consuming.

Martin wrote:Another thing you could try Nelson is to strip the motor, give the whole unit a darn good flush out with WD40 to clear away all the carbon dust (as Greg mentioned 😉 ). Clean up the commutator with a bedding stick and try it again? If that fails and you reckon the Module checks out OK? Then the motor is a duff’un 🙁
HTH?
Bedding stick Martin?

Check that the filter is not blocked.. I know it sounds stupid but you could have a blowback caused by the air in the machine
A quick resolve would be to turn down the pressure of the cold water

Here is a ‘for instance’ for you…. ‘Drums that are sealed in order that they are non-repairable’… very transparrently done so that the machine is made useless or is very expensive to repair… This should be banned or the manufacturer should be made accountable if the drum fails within 10 years

In my humble opinion forcing consumers to buy a longer lasting product is more logical.
Being a free market we cannot dictate a clients option, well not directly, but it would be a great advantage if govts could control more of the market demand.
Have a quality standards control over imports .. force companies to prove merchantability in respect of working life, before the goods are allowed to be sold in this country, much as the UK do with drugs, or the USA do with wooden furniture, virtually all contries do with food .. doing this would prevent China, USA and virtually the whole of the EU and Eastern Block dumping their cheap nasty s**ty products on our soil. That will dictate client options for you .. infact, it will deal with all three issues.
