    Guys,

    Hate to try and get my post back to the top of the list but really struggling with this. Bought a new PCB as couldn’t trace the problem and it hasn’t solved it. The smallest bit of advice would be appreciated.

    What I’m actually looking for is someone to tell me what Relay labelled K2 (the black one) does.

    Any adviee would be great.

    Thanks Martin,

    I replaced the bearings on this machine not long ago, customer now reporting a loud knocking sound when in it’s fastest spin, can only think that the inner drum has spome form of damage, it was clear that this had been in contact with the rear of the tub when I replaced the bearings but there appeared no damage to the inner drum. Sounds like I’ll just have to replace the inner drum.

    I suspected something similar, the customer has said that she’s run a few more 95 degree washing and that hadn’t improved matters, should I recommend that she tries a couple of 60 degree washes?

    Checked the pressure switch and all seemed ok, very odd. Might be worth another look just in case I overlooked anything.

    Many thanks to all who replied.

    Sorry to maybe ask a simple question the kit comes with a replacement drum shaft and three torx screws. The instructions mention replacing the drum shaft with the one in the kit THe drum shaft is riveted to the drum, do I assume that I’m going to need a whole new drum?

    Customer can’t wait so new element it is, might try and persuade him to repair the original and keep as a spare though!
