WM52P is definately fitted with that striker plate. Can’t see a part number on the one here on my desk….only 016/4393. 😕

This latch plate fits a WM51, Jim; but I can’t find the gen part number on Connect. You should be able to find it on that model number though…..

What program are you using? Low temperatures will not activate the tablets properly. Is the machine heating? Are you using the quick wash?

New World are part of the Belling / Stoves group. The fascia panel is available at around £30. Click the spares banner below (or in the left side menu), supply the machine details and Dave will source it for you. 😉

The programmes cannot be selected if the door lock is in the “door shut” position. It’s a common fault on these oriental Indesit clones. The door lock flips over when the door is shut quickly. Flick it back with a small screwdriver.
    Look for that first. 😉

    Re: awd 12

The machine will “call” for water from the hot valve when it needs it – it doesn’t matter if the supply is hot or cold – it just has to have a water supply at both valves at all times.
Many customers turn off their hot supply thinking the machine will continue without it, but hot and cold machines need both valves supplied.

So the solution is to fit a ‘Y’ piece to the cold inlet. The ‘Y’ piece is a plastic part that screws onto the cold inlet tap that supplies the washing machine. This then “splits” the supply into 2 threaded connections that you fit the hot and cold hoses to. Hey presto, cold water at both valves!
It is also good practice to buy a 3/4″ BSP blanking cap to seal off the unused hot tap. This will avoid disasters and possible injury if the hot tap was accidentally turned on. 😉
Both parts are readily available from any plumbers merchants and DIY stores.

Power off before any work begins!! :plug:

    Re: awd 12

AWD12 has a hot valve – no supply / faulty valve / silted valve filter / kinked inlet hose as Helo says.

Does that affect the ‘VAT free’ guys holding stock? Do we still retail the dishwasher at the same RRP? 😕

Re: AEG Competence U3100 Lower Oven Totally Inert

There won’t be an internal fuse as such in this – but a T.O.C is likely. This will be in line with the element, so would normally only cut the power to the element alone and not the light.
Check the selector switch for blown contacts and the clock for a blown relay.

Power off before any inspection. No live testing under any circumstances. :plug:
