    Re: AEG BH88D dbio

Connect show it as a special order part – £31.61 + VAT. I’ve checked the part number and it is correct and has not been superseded. Maybe Dave can get it for you. If not, PM me and I can…… 😉

Thanks for the info, Chris. I’m pleased to find the fan motor is a normal speed one – saves me removing it again……

    Cheers,

Have you tried the old fashioned “comm stick” we used to use on vac motors? Connect sell them @ £5 ish.
    Bit cheaper…… 😉

Thanks, Chris – that is the same one I kept finding. It’s silver, but it doesn’t show when the door is closed.

    Cheers,

Can’t find a KEB030, Lawrence; but the PNC number finds the door hinges as:- 4071345781.
Very costly; Connect are £39 + VAT non – returnable. 😯

Connect have the genuine motor @ £22.48 + VAT and Qualtex have a pattern version @ £17.89 + VAT. Their genuine motor is £23 + VAT. Both are cheaper than what you have been quoted……. 😕

    Cheers, Ken.
Ahh, thought that might be the reason. But as I hadn’t heard one run before, I thought I’d better check with the Oracle. 😉
Can you book me another ISE10 please and some more brochures? Sales picking up here as most of my leads are now coming to fruition. 😀

    Thanks,

Re: Hotpoint wd640 g circuit board

Call Hotpoint service – your machine is covered by the free 5 year parts cover. You will have to pay the labour charge (around £95) but that in itself is cheaper than a new PCB.
Also you have to consider the possibility that something else in the machine caused the PCB to fail. 😉 If that is the case, then £95 is a bargain!!

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.

You’re right, Bo – the element is surprisingly cheap! Not worth just doing the ‘stats, new heater time!!

Thanks for the help, Bo and Helo,

    Think you’ll find that’s a A05 fault……. 😉 Pressure switch problems – check for blockages.

    Hope that helps,
