Re: Bosch washing machine fault code WIS24140GB 07 fault cod

    Hi Dave,

The machine starts for a few mins then fault comes on. When the fault code has started the instantanious door lock just switches on and off and fault remains unless sitched off at mains.

What is the reset procedure for this range of machine?

    Thanks Don,

I have applied for trade access with them but the lady on the phone said I probably wont be allowed access as I dont spend enough per month.

Oh well they will have to get used to me calling them up non stop asking for diagrams etc. 🙁

A worrying development indeed particulary as this infomation was not originally offered to the public.
For those who choose not to post technical information on the public forums for safety reasons it makes you wonder how secure information is within the trade forums.

Done only a couple of these, obviously your passing this saving on the part to the customer like I did. 😉 😉

    Re: Miele W806 troublesome fill

I know its the most obvious, but you did have a look at the pressure tube and check the pressure vessel for blockages. Could she be over-sudding as it didnt overfill when you tested the appliance?

    Hi funkyboogy,

Am I missing something here, you say you can get a fixed fee repair cheaper than parts for a tub job repair and you are in the trade?.

I suppose if its a welded tub 7kg drum the maths might add up.

To be honest the idea of calling out the manufactures with all the obvious aggravation that envolves to repair my machine is inconceivable to me.

Anyway hope they get a move on for you.

The trouble is far from being all over you like a rash they just freeze your account with no notice.

Strange must be just me getting no invoices 😕

    Re: whirlpool washing machine

you need to buy a imperial socket set that contains a “quater inch drive”, as they say stateside.

    or just:

    hope that helps

I would say save your money, the books got smaller, less people use it and prices haven’t gone down.

I suppose thats why they have such pushy sales people. They know the yellow pages are dying.

In a just world, they would put there prices down to reflect this, I will keep my fingers crossed!.

seem to remember they were advising to remove the front 2 wheels that are prone to noise and replace them with the 4 drum front plastic bearing pads.
