Re: Servis M3016A won’t fast spin

It might well be worth fitting a new belt to this machine as this is probably your only option for a DIY repair.50/50 in my opinion as to whether this will solve your problem.
Assuming there isn`t a “no spin” option button selected on control panel.

Power off of course before going any further :zap:

I would think you would be best calling out an engineer to deal with this unless you can empty water from machine by lowering the drain hose into a basin at floor level.
Be warned if you remove any hoses from pump without first emptying out water your floor and yourself are likely to get very wet. 😥
Power off if you decide to try yourself :zap: or you could try Repairs@

Sorry going a bit off topic but our Hoover New Wave AC170 has had a cocktail stick permanently holding in the on/off switch for about 18 months.
13 Amp switch socket above worktop works a treat and I think she`s forgotten it ever had an on/off switch. 😀

    Hi Harry

Yes the main fan motor assembly is a regular fault on Neff ovens.I would say you have been slightly unfortunate to have had this problem three times in seven years although by no means unheard of. 😥
Personally don`t know of any modification to motor but if you post the full model number there are a couple of Neff engineers who regularly contribute on this site and they may have more information.

Then of course there`s the odd one like craigybell who gets all the good advice and diagnosis , then buys his thermostats from e-spares.Now that is annoying and if it happens to me during my working day it`s bl**dy annoying. 👿

If you post the complete model no.(label on inside of door) and you`re 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure the motor is faulty then I`m sure the shop@ on this site can supply you with said motor.
If you are going ahead yourself then power off of course :zap:

Not sure about the model no. but certainly carbon brushes on motor , as you suggested , most likely fault.Armature also normally needs a good clean before fitting new brushes. 😉

My personal view is we border on telling some of the general public a little bit too much and allow some good repairs to slip through by telling them too much but I guess it is very difficult to know when to stop being helpfull and to recommend pro. help.

Back to original topic. On Connections if you punch in the part no. you gave on your original post with the abbreviation SMG in front you would have got it.
Some part nos. seem to come up only with manufacturers abbreviated code.
Hope this helps for future

Re: Hoover TV30 Tumble Drier Thermal cutout

I think there are some serious safety issues here. You should not replace a one shot device with an auto reset. No doubt it will work but your dryer is no longer properly protected from over-heating.I guess it`s your choice but be warned.
