Just to clarify, i assume it’s not getting a signal from the microswitch to shut the valve down.

Have been able to cure this twice by just re-seating the pcb connectors.
    Worth a try.

    Sorry Martin it’s WTL6500GB/01

Have spoken to customer and it flashed the container full light on the first try after 15min so cannot have had water in chamber or a stuck float.

    Re: hotpoint wma52 motor

    Thanks Martin,
Now I am a little confused (as normal).

My Hotpoint friend has given me the part no 1604572(c00202516) based on the serial no so i assume this is correct.

Your site is selling a 160411 listed as fitting a wma52, which is cheaper and in stock at Connect. Just wondered what the difference was an if you can fit either.

    Thanks again

    Hi,

Can’t find this model, but if it’s got a level switch on the r/h side of the sump it could be stuck or faulty. Machine will try to pump until switch drops out.

Thanks, done yesterday. Found it difficult to split the lower tray to feed in the front sensor. One of those take your time jobs.
    Thanks
