If you telephone the call centre on 01737 231 000
They will arrange for a service engineer to attend, or offer a telephone number of a Admiral Service Agent.burns

ParticipantRe: bosch condenser dryer
You said that the condensor to the pump is clear, had a problem recently with the siemens it was linted up, the pump got some water and if you removed the hose from the pump at the back it spurted water.
rumaged around the rear of the condensor into the cavity the pump sits, with the ever-so faithfull last remaining 6 ” of coathanger and presto a big glob of lint fouling the hole.
As I said it did allow some water through but not enough to make the thing perform properly.
Just a thought.burns

ParticipantRe: Indesit Washing Machine – 3 Flashes NTC fault. Part need
Had a Hotpoint BWD12 built in washer dryer (indesit made) 3 flashes and wouldnt spin or wash – Wash thermistor 600 ohms. niether open or short but certainly not right.
Struggling for parts and customer desperate fitted a hotpoint 160430 thermistor fitted a treat and works perfect.
I will go back with correct one Saturday but it certainly has got him sorted and proves the faulty component.burns
ParticipantRe: Washing appliances in bathrooms
This brings back to mind a customer I had some years ago, called to a Hotpoint Toploader – The drain was hooked into the bath (used to fill the bath) and was wired into the old roundpin wylex socket spured into the immersion and was sited next to the bath (enamel) with socket above.
Didnt even have an earth on the socket???
THE CUSTOMER WAS MOST UPSET WHEN I REFUSED TO PROCEED WITH ANY REPAIR and ran a mile.
As far as I am aware he is still alive and kicking bathing in his smelly washing water and doing his toast on the side of the bath…. :zap:burns
ParticipantRe: parts suppliers 😳
Looks like knuckle wrapping.
Dont have any experience of unifit good or bad so cannot comment on their service.
If you feel you got it wrong Paul good on you for saying so, but do hope its your views not someone else’s 😳burns
ParticipantRe: Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaase help me out …
I have used the link and made a donation.
Who’s going to follow and keep the ball rolling, Its a worthwhile cause and it will take plenty of hard work on Robs behalf. Its already meant that he’s laid out a substantial amount to get even this far and get to do this.
With so many members on UKW you should easily reach your target.
Best of luck 😉burns
ParticipantRe: 3/8″ torx 40
The ones Indesit use are made by Belzer, you can buy these from indesit but will pay a premium price. I have the part numbers somewhere but cannot locate at present. perhaps one of the Indesit guys will look it up on the tools list on emit.
usefull also the T30 and the adaptor for the ratchet, warning these will cost dearly though through Indesit Parts.burns
ParticipantRe: Funny Customer Names !
Had to send a letter of apology to a customer last week on behalf of our service agent. Ms Abas took great exception at being called Abastar* on the engineers work sheet.
I was concerned when I read the letter of complaint as I certainly couldnt see a racist connection as indicated, but could see the funny side of the name change. Shame you cant always say what you really think. 😛burns
ParticipantRe: Can Hotpoint get any worse
If you were to stand on any city street and asked people what washing machine they own and would they but another of the same make you would get those who would and those who not have another no matter what make.
Ive just been to a customer to sort a problem with her fridge freezer, she remembered me from a previous visit as a team leader with Hotpoint. Good memory as this is now 11 years ago, but yes I can recall the lady, door pecker problems on a 95 if memory serves me.
She happily informed me that she always had Hotpoint as long as she can go back. Reason she states the quality of service provided by the engineers and the local service office.I must admit I had to aplaude her for her brand loyalty, at least until I noticed the LG washer shining like a new pin where the Hotpoint use to live.
So whats changed? 😳Add On: Sorry its not a trick question we all know the answer and if not ken sums it up to a tee in his previous post, which wasnt there when I started typing.

ParticipantRe: Maytag TD Mod: MDE5605AES
If its lint build up, remove the bottom panel front, you will see a cover with the humidity sensor in (blower wheel) inside – thats common to build up there.
Also check right through the back for linting. -
