    Re: Commercial

Well it may not help, but commercial machines suffer the same as domestic if you put food waste and mop heads in them . They are not intended to be used for these things .

    Antman,

firstly, can you post up the 12nc number…. it will be on the side of the door or on the guarantee card… it starts with an 85.. and is 12 numbers long .
Secondly, look at the flashing light again, and you should notice a slight pause amongst the flashing sequence ; if you can let us know how many flashes each time before the slight pause, this is an error indication code ( if the flashing is continuous and constant with no pause, this is “1” ).

yes, it just twists together . If you are very lucky, it can sometimes be possible to remove and refit while in situ, without taking the motor off 😆

Just have to set the time, and it will work . If I remember correctly , turn both knobs to off , push the middle button 3 times and then set the clock. Push button again and away you go . If this isn’t correct, the procedure will be in the users handbook

Re: Whirlpool American style fridge freezer

Your fridge freezer should defrost itself automatically . With sense, it should make little difference how you load the thing, as long as loose paper and wrapping arent permitted to clog up the grilles .
It souns like the automatic defrost has failed for some reason – if you are competent with test meter , it should be fairly easy to test components and identify what is amiss ; Otherwise, a local engineer should be more than able. If you are working on anything requiring removal of screws, panels etc, remove the mains plug first please 😆

Re: CANT FIND THIS MODEL DIPLOMAT ADA 8541 DRYER

The serial number is typical whirlpool , and the “85” number looks like the start of the 12nc number ( full number needed for info really ).. usual model numbers start adg ….
the only model i can find with a 8541 is for a slimline dishwasher .
    HTH ?

edit , google search for ada8541 shows the profile of a lady on a thai dating site 😆 😯

Yat … DO NOT TRY TO DISCONNECT THOSE SOLDERED PIPES !!!!

You have been supplied the complete evaporator, which can only be fitted by an experienced systems engineer with the correct equipment ; What you need to do is remove the element from the evaporator you have been supplied and refit to the old evaporator – if you look carefully , the heater is clipped in at the end of each run, just before it bends back on itself ; a pair of pliers and a bit of patience and you will be able to do it . Just take care not to puncture the pipes that are behind the heater and soldered on .

I can only suggest getting an engineer who knows what he is doing .

it could be either, but most likely the ribbon cable connections between the 2 … a good wiggle ( that is a technical term 😆 😆 ) if there is no visible signs of problem often works wonders

Re: Whirlpool American Fridge Freezer broken down – help!

Femstermum, your unit is not the same as the majority of units mentioned on here, and the saying a little knowledge is a dangerous thing applies to the last post.
The most likely and easiest cause of your problem is a build up of fluff at the front grills – the plastic panel that runs beneath the fridge and freezer doors ; this either unclips or unscrews, depending on the age . then on the r/h side you will hopefully find a matted wadge of fluff, hairs etc . If this isnt the fault, then it is likely to be the cooling fan in the rear which isnt controlled by any pcb as there is no rear pcb .
and any idea that you would need to top up the gas because the unit ran hot is laughable.
