Rinse Hold Button Playing Up ?

    2.1.4 Rinse hold
    – Stops the appliance with water in the tub at the end of the final rinse; this function can be selected in the
COTTON, SYNTHETICS, DELICATES and WOOL cycles.
When the same button is pressed again, the programme is completed by the drain and spin phases.

    Re: Qualtex troubles

I seem to remember getting a letter from Qualtex about a year or so ago stating that they would not be liable for damage in transit of drums & large items and it was up to the the customer to arrange for suitable insurance cover whilst the parts were in transit, how you would do this I don,t know. I personally have never had any problems with Qualtex returns and looking thru their terms and conditions I am unable to find any mention of this either on the invoices or web

No not yet – machine refused to do anything so disconnected valve and ran test on rinse, that was OK but when put on wash it came up with the error but at least it will now do more than it did and have ordered new valve

    Thanks Eastimark

Called back to this today and checked motor – that was OK machine ran ok on cool wash then wouldn’t start again checked and found that the diverter valve had a slight leak and earthed out. problem solved I hope.
