Re: Indesit DI 620 Leaky door – driving me nutty
Check that the spray bars are going around. How – switch it on listen for the water swish, open door set both top and bottom bars front to back close door listen again for swish of water and open door again. Look and see if they have moved. If they haven’t moved you have a spray bar problem which is causing the leaks. hth

And as we said at the meeting – if Capita (gas register) and f-gas team (refrigeration) doint get into the system some improvements/flexibility, once again we will find ourselves (the industry) with no bodies registered to do the work.

Thank you Don, it was nice to meet you for the first time. On the subject of UKW updates, ISE and further plans. It was decided by the powers that be that on this occasion we would not present these items in front of the manufacturers and would leave it for the September event.

Quite true but to clarify once again, you only have to have the refrigerant handling certificate if you are dealing with R134a or other CFC/HCFC gases. Equally, since we are dealing with such small quantities probably a maximum of 150g we creep under the limit too. As those that were at the meeting will remember we as a trade association are working with the f-gas team to draw up some exemptions and training. In the round ‘don’t panic Mr Mannering’ 😀

Interesting remark John, but as alway why is it that those that do bugger all are always ready to have a pop.
I for one would like to thank Bryan and Tina for sorting this venue out. If there was any problems in my opinion they weren’t to do with the venue. The major one that was indicated by my guests was the ignorant sods that talked through the presentations !!Re: help: hotpoint 8596p , freezer cold, fridge not
If you go into search I did an article sometime ago about this appliance. The gist of which is change the green and yellow thermistors and as long as the freezer to fridge ducts are not blocked if you still have the problem the module is duff.

It appears they are culling with a big hammer which will lead one thinks to every larger companies with no security. Glad I don’t do work for them and if I did I’d be looking over my shoulder 🙁
