Nice people this lot, I hear they are now setting up second and third tiers and offering to carry out repairs on the FRF1700FF and the FRC196 which as we know has a design issue for the same £84.

Yep its the PCB if you check the transformer on the board and its red then it will need replacing to the later board.

It might sound abit academic but why not have your original repaired. With this model its usually only the thermistors that need changing and a good defrost and you might get another 12 years 😆

Servis are in the middle of a massive restructuring and move from their current site to a smaller operation. The callcentre has been taken over by D&G and in the pipeline are a number of redundancies. Result is abit of chaos. If you are stuck and have the room for a large skip give John Hopwood or me a call/pm and we will organise your WEEE disposal (both general appliances and fridges)

Now which part do you want the start relay or the thermal cut out (klixon) neither part is listed in the parts listing but we might be able to get one for you.

If you have got a grinding sound as well as a lack of spinning I would together with iadom suggest that not only are the brushes worn, you may have a bearing failure on the way. If this is the case then perhaps you should replace the machine. There is an extensive network of ISE sellers in the UK if you post up your postcode I am sure the local agent will give you a call. The support for the ISE range is from the aforementioned ISE agent covering your area irrespective of whether you bought it from him or of the internet.

No just brute force – anticlockwise, quite often the housing and bulb holder are melted during use and have to be replaced but you might get lucky. Power off please

Most likely a defrost issue but you need to let us have the model number to get a clearer answer
