ModeratorFrom what I can find ( which isn’t much as it’s about ten years old). The DW45 is a standard slimline fully integrated dishwasher. So yes the Beko you mention will fit.

ModeratorMy first thought was why replace a Henry with a Miele?
That aside no guarantee covers accidental damage that’s something for your household contents policy. You need to take the machine to a local dealer for an estimate as body parts are not cheap especially Miele. You could also try the “nice” approach to Miele direct to see if they can help in any way.
Had the Henry fallen down the stairs it would have been cheaper to repair if it had even broken at all!!
Get another Henry is my advice they are still the best cylinders out there.

ModeratorThe model is no longer listed on Whirlpool ytrade spares. What spares I have found elsewhere are all obsolete due to the age of the appliance.
If the seals are just tired and flattened then you could use the hairdryer trick to tease them back into shape however if they are split then it’s time for a new appliance.

ModeratorHave never dealt with Vzug all I know they are a top originally from Switzerland. My concern would be buying one in the UK what is the service availability like if something does go wrong. On that basis I would stick with Miele.
Omar I would phone the UK office and ask a few questions re my comments.

The quality of the Asko machine will not be what they were ten years ago let alone thirty when I started selling them.

ModeratorI get this almost every day 🙁 the best ones I know of is the Indesit IFV5Y0IX as it has the cut away to allow for the gas pipe. Or you keep what you have and have the gas pipe reconfigured to fit around the new oven.

ModeratorLittle is known about Shark through the independent retailers channel. They are sold predominately online and on the shopping channels. AO, John Lewis and Currys have the odd model for sale as do Amazon.
Reviews are mixed are the review sites.
If they were that good why are they selling refurbed ones? My own thoughts are these are probably customer returns which are then repaired etc and marketed at the 40{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} less price.
At least with a year warranty you have some assurance.

ModeratorThe cost of 85 Euros is still very cheap for a brand new dryer.
You also have to remember the use you have had from your current one. I personally paid the extra and up graded to a new one which also came with a new twelve month guarantee.

ModeratorAll but a couple of top end dryers are out of stock of the 43 models they usually carry. Your dryer like most others are delivery not known as you can see from the screenshot.
Most manufacturers are not placing dryers as life essential appliances so they come last in the production queue. Cooking and refrigeration are first followed by washing machines, dryers and dishwashers. It’s not just our industry that is struggling after the pandemic. Building trades are really struggling as are retailers and DIY chains.
As you are wanting the replacement I’m afraid like others you will have to play the waiting game.

Oh yes umpiring a Devon league match 🙂
Elica are one of the top brands in cooker hoods, very reliable and functional. The model you are looking at has an extremely good extraction rate of 713 cubic metres per hour. Assuming your kitchen is 3 metres tall you have approx 90 cu metres the hood will refresh the air every 7 minutes or so. So you could run it on mid power and still get a very good refresh rate.

ModeratorI agree with your sentiments entirely about vented but it’s all about being as green as you can be which is the main reason behind heat pumps. There has been no timescale set as yet as to their demise so I would buy one while you can.

No vented ones anymore I’m afraid. Hoover / Candy produce heat pump models as do Montpellier.
I have heard in the next five years or so vented and condenser dryers will gradually disappear.

ModeratorDon’t see how you can as your built under double is 72cm tall. If you install a single oven at 60cm tall it will need to be above the unit plinth line so the door does not catch the floor. You will need a shelf fitted for the oven to sit on which will make to top of the oven just under worktop height.
The shortest drawer I know of is 14cm tall I would not fancy it above the oven anyway as it will get to hot. Putting it under a single oven will mean the user has to get on the floor to use it!!
You normally see these installed in tower units under the oven.
Just remember to consult installation instructions as if it’s installed incorrectly it could invalidate your guarantee.
