is the door closing tightly? worn hinges can leave a gap between the door and the seal causing a large heat loss which may cause this problem.

good old Film strip, not cheap and an absolute swine to fit. would advise getting this job done by a pro. Also, take care you order the correct one as, if its a double oven, there are 4 fitted and they are all different. Not only that, if one has snapped the others may soon follow suite.

had this the other day on a whirlpool build in and was tearing my hair out over it. after changing all the drain hoses and the continer/air break at the back it turned out to be the filter! No not blocked, but broken. The customer had cleaned it recently and as it was stuck in, she forced it out, breaking the outer cage of the filter in the process which she just binned, replacing the filter without this. Must admit, even to me I couldnt see anything missing as some filters are just simple ‘mushroom’ shape anyway. As this one did not form the seal around the pump impellor there was no pumping action at all, the impellor just spun around uselessly splashing the water around inside. Might be worth a closer look at the filter in your case, adv

as we always tell folks, first thing to look at is the dispenser, just connect up a solonoid valve coil if you dont have a dispenser to hand and at least eliminate that one which causes all sorts or odd faults. everything else you can test wihh a meter and if all seems ok and no leaks then it will be the PCB. Filling and emptying together for the first few minutes is normal.

does it stop if you disconnect the stat?
Pretty sure i had this once and it turned out to be the oven fan motor (ie the one inside the fan element) being shorted to earth. Despite this, the fan motor still worked and did not trip or fuse.
