cover usually re-fits without problem. Sorry but dont have the part number of the switch but it is usually on the label of the old part. The ones that fit direct onto the motor dont normally fail or get blocked, its usually the pump impellor blocked with collected debris.

IME timers never failed on this one, always either module or the temp sensor C00050574 or the connectors on the module.

Wouldnt recomend removing the side panels unless you have too as, as you mentioned, they are lighlty spot welded which need chiselling off. Would imagine enough space with the top and back off to stick on the bitumen though.
Having said that, have never had a problem with mine at home or any on my patch so who knows. Some of the Asko and maytag ones do have the sound proofing fitted part number 8061986

If you have changed the rear board then it only really leaves the front one to try. (probably sould have gone for that first TBH and i under warranty would have changed both anyway) The ICE build up may mean the icemaker water supply needs adjusting down a touch.

Is the sios as good as the TDS disk ? does it have fault finding and repair instructions for the American type appliances as I would be interested in one if so or is it just a parts catalogue.

    Mark 🙂

When SIOS first came out they basicly copied everything that used to be on the microfich including the tech manual and stuff. Now all we get on the disc is the parts, circuit diagram and a technical data page which just give the specs, sizes and wattages etc. Not much in the way of useful technical stuff for an engineer like you might find on TDS or Pro corner. The odd service manual is on there but dont count on it.

possible overfill fault, machine continues to fill after circ pump starts and should cut out after 30 secs or so. Had a few of these ignoring the pressure switch and continues to fill until anti flood cuts in. The bad news is that its a glitch on the pcb-not cheap to put right. Take the side panel off and watch it fill to prove.
