    yep its a Brandt, use a torx screwdriver to gently ease the timer around to the start position and try again.

    Is your washing machine door hanging off its hinges or maybe it just keeps getting stuck? Easily solved with this Hotpoint + Hinge Bearing Kit, bringing your hinges back to how they should be.

    Miele heaters, held in by a wing and a prayer! Why do you need to remove the heater if its only the NTC?
    its just remove or cut the spire clips and pull/ease the gasket.

    only other thing to check may be the float switch in the base, have been known to burn out the plug. remember these things do drain for a good 2minutes or so on first switching on.

    spot on BSH man! I ordered the top oven com and yes, on removal the rear most row of contacts were welded together, wow I though and changed it but still the damn resistor was getting hot when off so I looked under the main oven com and that was welded also, mangaged to release it and it seems all is now ok…..but how would 2 sets of contacts become welded for no apparant reason? All elements fine and no reports of blowing trip/ fuses.

    nice to read that the staff at Zolfo Cooper are getting paid handsomly. the most junior having to put up with only £90 an hour while the top dogs are on £550 an hour, no doubt all being paid from our pot.
