Re: BSH sending out used spares

I have had a dishwasher heater in an iffy box and although not used, it looks like it had been rolling around out of its box in a van for a few months. Turns out it was even the wrong part number to that which it said on the box and needed the thermostat from the old heater to replace the NTC to get it to work correctly on the model it was ordered for. Not what I would have expected from such a company as BSH.

Both draws are completely independant of each other save for a mutual power pcb which is in the base of the housing. Each have their own circ pump and heater. The impellor at the top of the rotor is the circ pump while the one at the bottom is the drain pump, it rotates in reverse to drain. the heater is part of the plate around and beneath the pump motor. wierd as hell but not to bad to work on, make sure they pay you well though!

The spray arm, motor etc is supposed to lift out! Yes it is unlike any other dishwasher.
Once the rotor etc is out you will see a passage that the drain water needs to pass through to get to the outlet hose. (you can see the hoses and general layout by looking up at the underside of the top draw when it is pulled out.) Chances are that the passage is blocked, easy to clear.

would have thought though that the cooling fan should come on during cooking and then run on after rather than only coming when the oven is turned off……
not had the problem but obviously the cooling fan and the stat that initialises it have to be the first things to look at. Some Bosch ovens have the initial stat built in to the bulb holder and these have been known to fall apart and short out.

As the door is attatched to the drum itself, it will move backwards and hit the back panel and clunk, it is normal but takes some getting used too. I suggest a firm and continued push.
As for the conditioner, not heard of any problems but try putting a little less in, as EFS said, the top of the 2 ridges is the absolute max.

    Re: Diplomat ADP3300 oven

That oven is a fan oven only so, on swtiching the oven on, the fan at the back of the oven (you can see the fan through the slots at the rear of the inside of the oven) should start up and, once you have selected a temperature, the heating element (which is circular around the fan) should start to get hot. Sounds like maybe the element is working but not the fan? which would give you heat at the very back but not hot enough to cook elswhere. If the fan is jammed you may be able bump start it by flcking it around using a toothpick or similar through the slots.
The grill setting should work though as it doesnt use the fan at all, select grill and wind the thermostat up to max and it should heat. Failing thatm if neither is working, that you will have a problem that will need an engineer.

Re: Diplomat ADP 4883 inner oven door glass

As its an MFI oven i reckon you need to wait until the spares situation is sorted out, should have news on that front within a few days. Will probably be able to order through the spares service here. Just hang on a while longer. OVGLASSINL is the part ‘number’ (assuming it is the main oven, inner glass you require)
