Most ovens have a small “pilot” light which should go on when heating and go off once the set temperature is reached and thereafter cycle on and off as the oven cools and needs “topping up” again. Therefore, once the oven is off it should definatly not be on. Sounds like you may have a wire in the wrong place and you may also need to check that the element is not still getting hot when switched off.

The draw should come out completly. There may be a catch under the draw that it needs to be eased over.

there is a panel beneath the door that can be unscrewed to get access, ensure it is unplugged first. Unlikely the pump will be damaged, more worrying though is that the water may have got on to the circulation pump motor which has caused the trip. Whatever, sounds like you have a leak that needs sorting.

If the high pressure pressure switch is not activated within a few seconds of the motor being energised it will cut the power to it and flash the light as you said, hence not enough time to get hot and still filling with water so you would not hear it hum.

must admit to not having seen one of these but you generally need the oven thermostat set to the max temperature for the grill to work correctly.

yep, the real model number for that one is DW95, look on the rating plate and that is the correct parts manual for a DW95.

Re: New Dishwasher from Howdens – confused by salt

    ITs made by Beko.
there will be an internal float in the salt container which rises and falls subject to the specific gravity of the water in the salt container. this wiil in turn operate a swtich which will turn the light on on the control panel. If there is no water when you remove the cap then you really do have a problem. Most dishwashers need to be adjusted to cope with the hardness level of your water, see you instruction book on how to do this. Some work it out for themselves automaticly though. not sure about your one, read the book to make sure.

Ken, not strictly on topic bit I have one missing asko drier manual, its for a T740 (which is oddly skipped in the service manual you have )which, although much the same as the current version, had a led display and different controls/ fault codes/ test progs. Would be interested if you could find one for me?
