ModeratorRe: Blomberg 1200DW heater
Is it like a washing machine one that fits in a plastic moulding just next to the sump? If so then it will be 31X9415 or hotpoint number 1801537

ModeratorRe: Zanussi E20
Yes E 20 is not a error code as such, its what the customer see’s. the actual error code will be E2* and you need to acces the test programme to read (and clear) it.

obviously the tray will be full of water, from where who knows. Favorite is the join between air break and wate softner. appliance has to come out to check.

Is there power to the elements ?.
If only life were so simple…I wouldnt be asking here. No the elements are fine as I said so if they had power…they would work.

Do a search for Smeg E2 fault, loads of stuff here about that one….and that model does have it regardless of what the instruction book may say. Basicly its blocked between the airbreak and the sump.

ModeratorRe: Dyson / Panasonic Link
the story goes that to fund the initial production of Dyson vacs in europe, he sold the rights in Japan to a company there who manufuctured them (without the clear dust container as the Japanese dont like to see their own dirt) so I guess there may be a connection with Matsushita somewhere along the line and as they are all manufactured in Asia now anyway….who knows.
As for the Neff Bosch microwaves, i think the whole product is from Matsushita, never mind just the mags.eastlmark

Remove and connect the two AMP tags on the module together, this will give mains voltage to the motor which should run at full belt if the motor and wiring to motor is OK, only do this for a few seconds of course. 🙂Jim.
…and check there is not a couple of soggy bath towels in the drum first :rotl:

Chris.
Fine for the odd wire but when they are all showing signs of failing its just not worth it….IMO.
plus a lot of us had bad experiences with Zanussi ones some years back and I kind of like to sleep at nights.eastlmark

dont know Gregg, for safetys sake would always go for the loom option if more than one or 2 wires broken. The rest are bound to go soon anyway.
