Re: How many calls a day?
We had always traditionaly done 8 calls a day, 4 am 4 pm but now we all have to call when the customer wants it aint so simple. I tend to do 10 or so but thats way over a normal working day in hours and, I must admit as I am getting older I am finding more difficult. I remember taking 18 or so Candy jobs a day way back when and be finnished by 3, but then doing just one make was allways a hell of a lot easier than multi brands and multi aplliances.

Did the bearing assembly not come with a new collar? It used to and you need a special tool to remove old and fit new. still got it lying around somewhere. Cheaper to replace the drum support complete.

It amazes me that Ukethesis is obvioulsy quite adept at using a PC yet cannot get to grips with a single aspect of using a washing machine.

Why not just buy a external hard disc and bung it all on there and then put that somewhere safe? Unless the house burns down that should be pretty secure.

The hobs have to come off, not really a diy job. Do you mean the whole oven stays on (ie heat and fan)? or just some heat and the stat light on.

Would suspect a broken wire in the door loom giving a false oc stat reading. Pretty crappy job to repair safely and properly to tell the truth and it is unlikey that only one wire is broken-they are probably all on the verge.

This is a feature of only to top of the range intergrated models. Not sure you can mess with the spec that much you may have to fit the door panel correctly.

Funny enough I have a statesman washer to do under warranty on Monday also. They have sent me very Beko looking soap dispenser to fit in it.

This is Smegs excellent sliding door which enables the outer decor panel to be slid down 30mm or so once the door is closed. This not only locks the door to stop kids opening it, it also exposes a second normaly hidden display so the user can see how long to go etc. It basicly is a repeat of the main display on the top of the door. clever huh! Most customers dont even know they have this feature and its a good way to impress them when I go in and slide the door down.
Cannot tell you whats wrong with yours Goose, assuming its been ok since installation i cannot imagine there is any problem with the instalation. The usual problem is the latch coming loose inside the facia due to a broken console panel.
