IMO most electric oven stats are 20-30 out either way and is usually compensated for by the customer as they become accustomed to the ovens characteristics. Have you plotted the temp over a period and averaged it out? as that method usually is more accurate.
Some stats can be callibrated if there are 2 groves around the base of the knob shaft which can be turned with long nose pliers.

Theyt wouldnt fit, these are the older Bosch motors with enclosed carbons that dont come out without a motor strip down. I always fit the complete end frame of the motor anyway, saves getting hands dirty.

Bound to be the PCB (the one at the top that is), had one the other week, clunk clunk is the sound of the door lock. not too expensive on that one though so worth doing. needs configuring though.

Not a common problem at all, dont want to suggest the obvious but have you checked for clean and free turning spray arms?

You need to quote us the model number, usually on a label on the side of the (open) door. Sounds like you got a engineer who couldnt be bothered. If it is a heating broblem then it will be far cheaper to repair than replace with another intergrated dishwasher.

you need a new switch pcb assembly p/n W0000051 (was W0000025) which has uprated switches on it. it needs to be soldered in place. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply it.

Most likely the fan element breaking down when really hot, at least that is the most likely cause.

Baumatic is a bit of a black hole on UKW really. Need to know who makes that one. Dead machine means checking the usual, door interlock etc. If its a Merloni clone then suspect the module.

I beg your pardon but I never added a question mark either as it happens!

Irrespective of whether or not the inclination was questionable, the fact is electrical regulations require all metal parts to be earthed. The motor may be of the double insulated type but the stainless shroud should be connected to an earth loop I think you will find? (now I added that question mark)

Well then where did it come from? its clearly not in my original post. There is no provision for an earth on these or any other hoods I have come across, who knows why and I am not the one who designs or aproves or installs them.

    Well they should be!

Martin, i did not write that, (with the question mark) please do not change it and mark it as a quote. They are not earthed and that is not in question.

    Re: Live hood??

Is true they come with only 2 core cable. but within the cavity there are loose hanging cables and razor sharp stainless steel edges.
