    Re: Hotpoint WMA44P Motor

A bit off topic I know, but I have just visited a Servis washer drier M9003wa and was surprised to find a Bosch/Siemens motor fitted 🙄 (the type that Bosch use with 154740 carbons)
Now I am wondering how much Servis would charge for brushes ❓ No doubt it will be motor only.

The worse brush rip off I come across has to be zan/ceset types 50226588007 £19 EACH ONE 🙄

I for one would be interested in that as I cannot understand how you (EMW) test such a wide range of stuff. You (EMW) do, as we have never had one problem with any timer or module.

I dont think that would be the case, Steve as Paul would then have cold and wet washing rather than hot and wet which is definatly a condenser related problem. Some Bosch washer dryes have de fluff programme to clean out the condenser that no one ever uses. Read your instruction book to see if that applies to this model.

Try here for a start, should have told you that many Diplomat dishwashers are made by SMEG and suffer the same probs.

    Re: AEG hob spares needed!

In order to correctly id this, we would need the correct Enr number which will be on a label on the bottom surface of the hob. If you have an electric oven underneath, it will probably be easier to remove that and then you should be able to look up and read the label.
Warning, those parts will be expensive!

Bit slow at end of last week, but loosing good calls today as, round here no one will wait more than a day or so. MFI a bit slow, but that happens. Other engineer off with torn muscle in leg so I got him limping around the shop selling/looking up spares etc. Should do him some good and teach him why I get so anoyed when he writes the wrong model number down.

Don’t prat about, give them one written warning and then issue a County Court Summons. This can be done on line at http://WWW.moneyclaim.gov.uk

I agree this is a very easy way of issueing a county court summons, far easier than filling in the form longhand and the cost is infact only £30.

After reading this post, I issued 3 court summons using this method and this week got a result on all three, all paid up and they paid the court fee’s without even having to go to court. OK they wont be my customers again but what the heck, I hope it has taught them a lesson as they were all just taking the p*** out of me and no doubt other tradesmen too. They were all only small amounts, total £180 the lot but why should they get away with it.
Will be using this again and recommend it.
