There is only one cure for this problem, its a conversion kit that does away with the belt altogether and replaces it with a electric fan motor. Its not cheap at about £70 for the part only and its a job for an engineer as it needs a few wiring mods.

Change the door mounted thermistor 169430 (yeah, same as the laundry machine one!) Its only cheap and works 8 out of 10 times for this fault. If not, probably the power board as Martin said.

The problem with the comments window is that, on my screen, the “commenter” box is missing and only the “comment” box is visible hence when I Comment, I get a error message asking me to fill in the “Commenter” box, which isnt there. Confused? I am and I cannot believe I am the only person with that problem.

They were tricky ones them, i dont think i ever got one back on the same as it came off! Dont know of an alternative but I guess a lot of them are similar sizes so there may be one out there but sounds like more hassle to try other ones than fitting the correct one. These are pretty old now so dont come across them so much.

The top basket wheel is part number 8058498 that is the part that fits on the basket itself. If thats not the part you want, give us a better description of where it fits etc or I can fax you an exploded.

I seem to remember someone here a few months back offerring Miele at trade prices almost as way of boosting their trade account turnover. Cannot remember who or even where but someone may remember.

Sorry, i missed this one, but a E14 on a Smeg w/d is a failure of the dryer NTC or related wiring.

Looks like that is a twin compressor fridge freezer so in theory at least your freezer should be ok if there is only a fridge compressor or control problem. The bad news is that it has electronic control so there will be no easy answer and it may also affect the freezer in time. I think you need an engineer out to it. If you you dont hear the freezer start up then try switching the fast freeze on. oh, and dont keep opening the door to see if the stuff is still frozen!
I would recommend contacting the aeg service number given its age, they may well do it as a concession as its only just out of its (presumably) 12 month warranty.Re: STOVES Timer Programmer- Electric Oven
Timers in general are pretty easy to by-pass and the customers barely ever use the auto function anyway. We usually give them the option, assuming we havnt got a clock gathering dust on the shelf, and charge a special fee for this, but still saving them hundred quid or so on the part.
