    How did you guess!

Have found an email from last year stating the payments would start in November 2012, like I am going to remember that! There was no email recently informing me that it was going to start and as i said, I checked all my DD’s earlier in the year and there was non for FME so I could not cancel it with my bank as there was not one to cancel. They must have submitted them very recently and took the money the same day.
Have had a mail from them about it. Will probably say goodbye to the £10 mind.

unlikey to be that as the pressure switch works of a seperate pipe to the sump. Check for blockage in the sump pressure chamber and that the pressure switch is ok. If so then its the pcb ignoring the signal. all of this can be done from the front without removing the appliance.
if you need a pcb let me know as I can do one for you. RRP is £140.44+vat by the way.

FME just took £10 from my bank account. Must have been well over a year since I filled in the direct debit and checked it was not on my list of dd’s when all the crap went down. Surely there is a time limit for a dd to be acted on? Now canceled anyway and will persue to get refund.

    Re: cooker rings, why?

Is that the EEC standard brought in just to wind up appliance engineers then?

Thing is, fitted one yesterday to a hob that was still under 12 months warranty and expected a straight swop but even that had older connections on and was an absolute nightmare to fit…

Not that I care but, does make you wonder how diy’ers (and probably some engineers no doubt) get on given that there is no indication (mod sheet) that the connectors have changed.

Normally yes, but this particular NEFF appliance does not have mounting brackets or clamps. It’s a flush fit type which you have to drop into the correct size recess and then silicone round the gap at the edges. This is specified in the manufacturers installation instructions as the correct way to fit.

    Cheers, Jon

what stops it dropping out the bottom then?

Not at all sure why you posted a spare parts enquiry in General? But if you check out the Neff web site you can see the parts listed. But to save you the bother it is 029954 though it is advisable to replace the stat grommet too otherwise I guarantee a recall. Check out the Neff site for that part. 😉

    Headscratcher forum?

think he Tony is just telling about his recent jobs rather than a specific spares enquiry, Martin.
