Anyone else agree with my prognosis?

yes, you need to update your glasses 😀

Have you checked for a feed to the dispenser coil with a meter? the only reason I say that is that the coils on these dispensers work painfully slowly and simply clicking through the program would not give it enough time for any mechanical action to take place. Therefore it could still be a heater related issue, heater itself, the stat on the top of the heater or loose connections in the loom plug just by the heater (had one of these before xmas with that exact poblem due to a pin outage in the plug there.) IME the timers on these are very reliable.

    Psst, Spurs 1-1 Wolves. 😆

As some Spurs supporters consider their team to be one of the ‘top teams ‘ in England I was surprised to find that the last time they finished in the top 3 (third) was over 21 years ago and the last Spurs team to actually win the league were the double winners, more than 51 years ago. :eeek:

True, in all aspects (stadium capacity, sponsorship deals and £££ spent on players) Spurs have never been a “big” team, this season however we are one of the top teams and on a £ per point basis I am sure we are the top team. and if being a top team involves antiseptic, huge capacity stadiums and just buying top performing players (who generally go off the boil once at a “top team”) to get results then long may it stay that way. We do, however often trip up against the teams we expect to beat easily and thats a hard one to crack.

yes, front off, single bolt at 6’oclock in door, 2 outer screws under plastic kick plate (which is either retained by 2 screws under caps or just unclips if no caps visible) Door spring band prised of, and the front will drop off, its heavy mind so take care! (obviously door lock is still connected)

air bell is a common blockage point on these, it simply unclips from the drum, stick you finger in the hole in the tub as well and give it a good wriggle around!

was this ever resolved? got one doing just the same, freezes on rinse, only flicking the mains plug on and off will re start it.
defo not valves, air chamber, pump or any earth leak. Will wash fine and only freezes on rinse, final one, no flashing leds.

    model?

most likely the thermostat shorted? or, if the type where the stat pushes into the com swtich then it may have just popped off the back.

Power module at a guess Martin, maybe check the resistance of the drain pump before fitting though. Did a no heat fault on one of these just before xmas, that was the power module, shame I did not keep the old pcb as it could have been a test swap for you.

Re: Hotpoint EG900X Door Hinges – A Question

2 versions so I would take a guess one has a heavier door than the other. the other hinge number should cure it.
I have had this problem on a Smeg once when someone I later found out had removed a piece of glass from inside the door for whatever reason and had therefore lightened the door causing the door to spring up shut on its own.
