had plentyof these with an obvious burnt joint on the heater relay but once re soldered still wont heat. hence shot. If the appliance comes out easy then the heater is the best thing to check.

Those hoses are easy to cross thread though, especially if being done by a delvery driver with no service engineers background.

heater or pcb, sometimes just dry joints on pcb but later ones are usually shot. Advise you visual check the pcb first as you dont need to pull the machine out. to meter the heater, rh side panel off.

it is a brandt but I cannot find an alternative as most of the Hygena types were semi intergtated with a handle while this one is fully intergrated. There is probably a dedetriech out there the same but I cannot come up with a part number.

No issue with me, in principle. If one module fits all then thats a bonus. Dont like the sound of the “internet connection” though. Would prefer to be able to download the programmes at home onto the laptop for use in the house and keep a “library” of them for future use. No doubt that wont happen and have to wonder about the interface, needs to be a lot better than their previous “RDS” pile of crap. Also need to know if programmed versions are available or not for non agents.

Candy have used that name for as many years as I can remember, we were a Candy agent in the 70’s, so yes, that long. Never did know what it stood for until today! assumed something Italian.

Those end caps are avaialable but never show up on the parts list, a quick call to BSH ap care usually comes up with the number.
